Developing our talented athletes in preparation for AFL competition in 2011 and beyond is a key priority - fundamental to this aim is the role of Player Development Manager. A newly created role at GCFC, the Player Development Manager will be responsible for coordinating the off field development program of our playing list including relocation, transition programs (in and out of the AFL environment), confidential in club guidance & counseling, education & training support, and administration of AFLPA programs.
We are seeking a talented professional to become our Player Development Manager. You will have previous experience working with young people and have the ability to engage with a diverse range of key stakeholders in a high pressure environment. Ideally, you will have qualifications in Counselling, Psychology or related discipline, and have worked previously with athletes.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications & experience.
