Introduction
Working closely with the Coach, and the Football Manager will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of preparing the A League Mens Team for training sessions and all games.
Accountability
The position will be accountable and directly responsible to the Coach and Football Manager.
Duties
Key responsibilities:
• Assisting Coach in all aspects of Match preparation as required;
• Provide and maintain expert coaching advise as required;
• Attendance at all training sessions and Match Days;
• Review Match performance;
• Specific specialist coaching as required and directed by Coach;
• Liaising with Football Manager, Coach, Assistant Coach and Medical Team as required;
• Demonstrate Club values and behaviours at all times;
Essential Skills
• Played or coached football at an elite level in Australia or in another elite national competition
• Elite coaching experience or long-time involvement at a professional football club
• Minimum AFC ‘C’ License
• Deep and demonstrable understanding of the tactical, technical and physical requirements of modern football and operations of a modern, professional football club.
• Demonstrated commitment to coaching as a professional career
